1. What was your first Job?
Cleaning floors and toilets in a car factory at the age of 14
2. What is your Favourite Holiday destination?
I've been fortunate to travel to many exciting places around the world. I love to explore ancient feats of civil engineering...the Great Pyramids of Giza; the Coliseum at El Jem, the Mayan Pyramids of Chichen Itza, but possibly the most stunning so far, the Byzantine and Roman city of Petra.
3. What Outdoor Achievement are you most proud of ?
Climbing to the top of a dormant (but still smoking!) volcano in Nicaragua... very hot, very smelly and a long long way down if you fell in!
4. Who was your Favourite teacher?
Mr Radway at primary school...he let me paint a mural on the local library wall
5. Who is your sporting idol?
Sir Steve Redgrave
6. What Gadget could you not live without
I seem to have become addicted to my car sat-nav...even when I know where I'm going!
7. What is the maddest thing you've done in a car?
Best kept to myself...but I was lucky to walk away in one piece!
8. When did you first fly in a plane and where did you go?
I had a short flight in a glider when I was 10 but I didn't get to go in an aeroplane until I went skiing with the school at the age of 13, flying to Milan.
9. What is your favourite joke?
What goes peck, peck, peck, BANG, peck, peck, peck BANG, peck, peck, peck BANG??

10. Where your favourite UK seaside resort?
Muddeford, Dorset...sea, sand, views and a great fried breakfast
11. What is your Favorite film?
Lord of the Rings trilogy...especially the battle for Helms Deep
